    Overview

    CHAMP is an annual Inter-school National Quiz Contest that is designed to improve the study skills and inspire the imagination, learning & ingenuity of young minds.

    Champ Inter-School National Quiz Contest is for Junior School students in Nigeria, strictly for Junior Secondary School JSS3 (year9) students between the ages of 12-14 years. Participation on CHAMP is school based.

    Synopsis

    The quiz contest is in two Levels: Written Qualifying Examination and Interactive TV Contest.

    16 schools are selected based on their representative’s performance in the qualifying examinations. Each of the 16 qualified schools will then present a team of 4 students and a coach to represent the school in the interactive TV contest. these teams will play in group and knock out rounds of the competition until 2 schools are left in the competition. The two teams will then compete for the position of the best junior school in Nigeria. This competition is recorded and transmitted on Television in Nigeria and across Africa.

    The Winner gets a trophy and all the students who make it to the TV quiz competition stage would get plaques and certificates of participation.

    The Competition

    The quiz is recorded in a world-class film studio, complete with ideal scenery sets, using audio and video equipment that rivals the best available quality, anywhere in the world. Shot in Full HD format (Sony HXC100), InterswitchSPAK offers remarkably improved signal-noise ratios as opposed to comparable sensitivity films, thereby delivering a more pleasurable viewing experience
