It is about the day to day occurrences/issues in the life of Mrs. Franca Mathews, the Editor of a popular News Magazine, she is married to Doctor Babatunde Mathews who owns a private Clinic; they have 2 children a boy and a girl. 17-year-old Taiwo and Kehinde and a 12-year-old ward. The Mathews are a close-knit middle-class family whose life positively affects those around them (their staff, neighbors, colleagues, relations etc.).
The series is a very interesting one because something in the day of Franca Mathews will always lead to the recounting of an occurrence/event in her life or that of those around her. These occurrences / events are usually issues which resolution can be seen from different sides depending on where the sympathy of the viewer lies. More often than not, Franca does not resolve the issues; she is only a channel through which the viewer gets to see/learn about different issues.
