Synopsis

Maxwell is a photographer and a father of a 4-year-old son who lost his wife at childbirth. He is now engaged to Anu, a promising On-Air Personality and they both are deeply connected.  Anu, an only daughter, has been receiving constant pressure from her mother to tie the knot. She has been engaged to David for over a year and a half but, he is not pushing marriage and he is always sharing his time with his late wife’s sister who is in care of his son.
One day, after a regular quarrel on the marriage idea, Maxwell opens up to Anu that he can’t get married to her until his son clocks eight. He had consented to his late wife last wish which is that he could only remarry and take total control of her inheritance when their child clocks eight. Anu who finds the situation appalling gives him an ultimatum to sort himself out or she leaves him.
Chioma a Lawyer and the late Adaora’s sister becomes shattered when Maxwell informs her about his plan to re-marry. Unknown to anyone, she has always harbored feelings for Maxwell and feels it is her right to marry him after her sister’s death, no matter how long it takes. But now that another woman wants to steal her man, she is ready to do everything possible to ruin it, even if it means going to court. Anu, on the other hand, does not understand Chioma’s animosity towards her as she tries to get close.
Maxwell, caught in an undesired court tussle has to make a decision between letting go everything dear to his heart and losing the woman he loves.
