2017 CowbellPedia Season 3 Final: Highpoints

In this year 2017 Season of Cowbellpedia Secondary Schools Mathematics TV Quiz Show, we saw outstanding performances from the preliminary to final as highlighted:

  • Emmanuel Mebude (Ogunlade Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos) answering 17 questions in the 60 seconds of fame in Senior Category, which equals the record of the most questions ever answered on the show and the first of its kind in the Senior Category. This makes him a joint record holder with Idowu Oluwatumise (Scholars Universal Secondary School, Ota, Ogun State) who also answered 17 questions in the 60 secs of fame in Junior Category in 2016 edition.
 
  • Mr. Samson Osewa of The Ambassador School, Ota, Ogun State picking the 2017 Cowbellpedia Laurette Award for contributing immensely to the development of the Teaching of Mathematics in Nigeria.
 
  • Greater Tomorrow International College Arigidi Akoko, Ondo State, picking the Benson Oweka’s Memorial award for being the most consistent school on Cowbellpedia from 2015-2017 with outstanding performances.
 
  • Munachi Ernest-Eze from Loyola Jesuit Abuja, launched himself into the Hall of Fame of the Cowbellpedia Secondary Schools Mathematics Tv Quiz Show by becoming the first winner of both Junior in 2015 and Senior category in 2017.
 
  • Jesse Uche-Nwichi of Graceland International School, Rivers State, who beat all comers to win the Junior category of the competition.
